Anne Carson, Jewellery Designer
Vancouver designer Anne Carson has been creating eye-catching necklaces with semiprecious stones, freshwater pearls, and handcrafted silver beads for more than 15 years. Her unique pieces are valued for their artistry and their timeless style. You can find a full range of her heirloom-quality work, including bracelets and earrings at the pop-up and at her online shop.
Donna Tangye, Painter
Donna Tangye is one of those artists who discovered her love of painting by accident. She picked-up a brush for the first time at a painting party about decade ago, and was hooked. She began painting in acrylics as a hobby and was surprised when people began asking to buy her canvasses. Today this self-taught artist paints West Coast scenery, with its distinctive light, for a growing circle of devoted fans. While she paints mostly for her own pleasure, Donna also takes commissions.
Robert Charles, Photographer
You may not know the name of photographer Robert Charles, but if you’re a Vancouverite, it’s likely you’ve seen his work. His images are hanging in the lobby of the Sheraton Wall Centre and at the Truth and Beauty Gallery. His moody, romantic images of life in Vancouver grace the walls of many collectors. Robert works in both film and digital and has a particular appreciation for the aesthetic of old school Polaroids and vintage box cameras.
